Gah. I have been so excited to share this wedding!
Abi and Ed booked me without even meeting me, from their home in the Middle East. I had no idea what to expect! I knew that Abi would be getting ready at her family home, getting married at Bovey Tracey Church and holding their reception at the beautiful Shilstone House. They wanted natural wedding photography that fitted in with their relaxed day. I was more than happy to oblige!
I’ve never asked a bride’s parents to adopt me before, but after stepping in to their gorgeous house, I may have hinted….
The day didn’t disappoint, and even from thousands of miles away, Abi and Ed had planned their day down to the finest details. From silk navy bridesmaid dresses, Abi’s stunning lace dress and a lot of simple but elegant touches, the wedding was perfect. I must say, I very much enjoyed the speeches (the joint best men even wore women’s wigs…) and was incredibly impressed by the array of dance moves I saw flying around the room.
Congratulations Abi and Ed! xx
If you’re getting married at Shilstone house, or anywhere, and are looking for a natural, reportage wedding photographer, please do get in touch, I’d love to hear from you!
