Esme and Paul got married at St Elizabeth’s House in chilly December, and as usual the venue didn’t disappoint. A lovely, quirky wedding with a slight vintage feel and lots of beautiful little details, their big day went smoothly and was wonderfully relaxed. I’m a relative regular at St Elizabeth’s House, and always enjoy shooting there with such lovely surroundings, helpful and friendly staff; and wonderful food and atmosphere. Check out Esme’s gorgeous wedding cake, by the Uber-talented Funky Mamas in Plympton: who has long since been one of my absolute favourites in cake making! Esme was the last of a lovely group of brides who I’ve been fortunate enough to photograph their big day, I photographed both bridesmaids Harriet and Natalie’s weddings and so I felt a bit sad that Esme was the last of three to get hitched! I also have had their gorgeous boy Luca (how ridiculously cute is he???!!) for his newborn and cake smash shoots, so I loved seeing him again as he walked mummy down the Aisle.
